Step 1 - Planning
Ultimately, this is the most important step of any development. Everything we do from this point on will reflect on the decisions we make here. At Smart Design, we see your goals as our own. Like building a good road, you don't just go outside and start paving. It would be a good idea if you knew where the road was going, then you can decide the best way of getting there. Smart Design will help you decide on your destination, and then we'll work backwards to your starting point, incorporating the technologies that will help you reach your goal.

Step 2 - The Architecture
Form meets function: After painstakingly paring down step one into a finite and deliverable product, now is the time to implement the actual architecture. The overall system requirements and technical specifications need to be narrowed down to a standard that works for your application. Visitor usability is kept as a priority; if your site is not "User Friendly" no one will stay for long. It is here that we determine the navigational structure of the site. This is a crucial step, as the application is useful only if it serves up information clearly and concisely.

Step 3 - The Design
Life is now finally breathed into the project! After weeks of infrastructure development and back and considerations, we begin to get down the look and feel. The style and overall theme are developed based on our Step 1 marketing analysis. Depending on the budget, we will explore several options, until we reach your expectations. Then it's time to get down to business! Everything is now in place; we begin to test our model that we have developed. Graphics, content, code and navigation come together to add the kind of interactivity needed to bond the project together.
